It was another hard day… but I got all my goals and daily commitments in! It was a quick grocery shopping day too so I counted it as my workout for the day… dog food and a case of water was involved so lifting was there 😅

... Read moreEmbarking on a 90-day gym challenge has been quite the journey, and I’m so excited to share my experiences, especially as I hit the milestone of Day 94 completed! This challenge isn't just about hitting the gym; it's about building sustainable habits and understanding my body better. Every day brings its own set of victories and hurdles, and I’ve learned so much about staying motivated, even on those 'hard days.' One of the biggest lessons has been flexibility. Some days, a dedicated 'Workout Plan' just isn't in the cards, especially when you're managing a busy household. I've found creative ways to keep moving, just like today's grocery run turned into an unexpected workout. Lifting heavy dog food and a case of water definitely counts! Using a challenge tracker has been a game-changer for me. It helps visualize progress and holds me accountable to my daily goals like drinking water, getting up early, maintaining a healthy diet, and ensuring an early bedtime. Seeing those checkboxes filled provides such a boost. My fitness tracker also helps me keep tabs on my activity – hitting 6,509 steps and burning 2,501 calories, plus getting in 42 zone minutes, shows that every bit of movement adds up. Beyond the physical exertion, understanding my body's recovery has been crucial, and that's where my sleep score comes into play. I was thrilled to see a sleep score of 86 after a solid sleep duration of 7 hours 58 minutes! A high sleep score isn't just a number; for me, it translates to better energy, focus, and overall mood, which in turn fuels my commitment to the challenge. If you're struggling with sleep, I've found that sticking to a consistent early bedtime, even on weekends, makes a huge difference. Winding down without screens an hour before bed also helps signal to my body that it's time to rest. It truly impacts how effectively I can tackle my fitness goals and daily life. Nutrition also plays a massive role. Tracking my calories, like the 2,034 calories consumed versus 2,501 calories burned today, helps me stay mindful of what I’m putting into my body. It’s not about strict deprivation, but about making balanced choices that support my energy levels and recovery. A healthy diet is key to sustaining the intensity of a 90-day challenge. I’m curious, for those of you on a similar 90-day challenge or working towards fitness goals, how are you navigating your journey? What are your biggest wins, or what challenges are you facing?
