High-Protein French Toast Breakfast 🍞💪

If you’re looking for a breakfast that feels indulgent but is still packed with protein, this protein French toast with cheesy scrambled eggs is one of my favorites. It’s sweet, savory, and super filling—perfect for starting your day with energy while still enjoying a cozy meal.

Ingredients

For the Protein French Toast:

• 2 slices of bread (thick cut works best)

• 2 eggs

• ¼ cup milk

• ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

• ½ teaspoon cinnamon

• 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla works best)

• 1 teaspoon butter (for cooking)

• Optional: syrup, fruit, or powdered sugar

For the Scrambled Eggs:

• 2 eggs

• 2 tablespoons milk

• ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese

• Salt and black pepper to taste

• 1 teaspoon butter

How to Make It

Step 1: Make the French Toast Batter

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and protein powder until smooth.

Step 2: Soak the Bread

Dip each slice of bread into the mixture, making sure both sides are fully coated but not too soggy.
