THE MAGIC OF PRUNE PURÉE / TASTE TEST

Today I made my daughter prune purée for the first time!

I made her this because she has been pretty constipated for a few days (maybe TMI but moms I know you understand 😅) and if it so sad watching her struggle with that as it got pretty bad because she was clearly uncomfortable and in pain. I have been trying all the movements with her legs and stomach that people have suggested to help get things moving and it was just not happening. Every day she would be working sooo hard on a 💩 and I thought for sure something was happening but I would open her diaper and the poor girl had nothing 😂. Then it got to the point where she was crying while trying to use the bathroom and it was so pitiful so I did some more research to try and help her out.

Then I ran across prune purée (it has lots of fiber that helps with bowel movements) which was perfect because I just bought my little mini bullet blender to start making her purées- and let me tell you that stuff worked FAST. I was so happy she was finally able to get things going so I just went ahead and made a batch and put them in an extra large ice cube tray in the freezer for next time needs some help!
