If you’re carrying Anxiety in silence I hope this helps.

The Truth About Anxiety…

Can I be transparent for a moment?

Last week, anxiety has been trying its hardest to get the best of me.

As a Life Coach and a Health & Wellness Coach in progress, I found myself asking, “How can I coach others on stress management when this week I’ve been struggling myself?”

Then I realized…

The people who teach healing still have to heal.

The people who encourage others still need encouragement.

The people who pour into everyone else still have to remember to refill their own cup.

Because I know what it feels like.

I know what it’s like to smile while your mind is racing.

To answer, “I’m okay,” while your heart feels like it’s beating out of your chest.

To excuse yourself for a “bathroom break,” but spend 30 minutes trying to slow your breathing, calm your heart rate, and convince yourself that you’re okay.

I know what it’s like to mask. To still show up. To still lead. To still pour into everyone else while quietly trying to hold yourself together.

That’s why I’m sharing this.

Because someone reading this may think they’re the only one. You’re not.

Anxiety doesn’t always look like someone falling apart. Sometimes it looks like the person everyone depends on or the woman checking every box on her to-do list while silently fighting a battle no one else can see.

So this week, I’m making a promise to myself.

I will slow down instead of pushing through.

I will breathe intentionally.

I will pray before I panic.

I will step away when I need to.

I will drink more water, take walks, listen to calming music, and remind myself that I am safe.

I will give myself the same grace I so freely give to everyone else.

Because healing isn’t about pretending everything is okay.

It’s about showing up for yourself one breath, one prayer, and one moment at a time.

If you’re carrying anxiety in silence, I hope this reminds you that you are not weak, you are not broken, and you don’t have to face it alone.

Today, I’m choosing transparency over pretending.

Not because I have all the answers…

But because if my honesty helps even one person feel seen, understood, or encouraged to ask for help, then sharing this part of my journey was worth it.

With love,

... Read moreAnxiety is often described as a silent struggle because it frequently hides behind smiles, busy schedules, and the facade of 'I’m okay.' From my own experience, anxiety is not always visible or understood by those around us. It manifests in racing thoughts, rapid heartbeat, and sometimes the desperate need to step away for a moment of calm. What resonated deeply in this article is the honest admission that even those who coach and guide others through wellness face their own battles. This acknowledgment is powerful because it removes stigma and promotes empathy. In my journey coping with anxiety, I found that making a conscious effort to slow down and prioritize self-care rituals was transformative. Intentionally focusing on breathing exercises helped ease my heart racing moments. Pausing to pray or meditate provided me with a sense of peace and grounding beyond just the physical symptoms. Simple acts like drinking water regularly and taking walks outdoors connected me with nature, offering a natural calming effect. Choosing to be transparent about anxiety challenges rather than hiding them fosters connection. It reminds us that nobody is alone in their experience. Many of us put pressure on ourselves to keep going, to show strength by masking our true feelings, but real strength lies in vulnerability and asking for help when needed. Encouragement from others who understand can be uplifting in those silent battles. For those silently carrying anxiety, remember that healing is not linear or about pretending everything is fine. It is about giving yourself grace and attending to each difficult moment with compassion. Small self-care commitments, such as mindful breathing, stepping away to recharge, and listening to calming music, become powerful tools in this process. This personal reflection highlights that anxiety does not diminish your value or strength; instead, it creates opportunities for growth and deeper self-awareness. Finally, this conversation needs to be normalized. Sharing stories, coping strategies, and support can empower others to recognize their own struggles and reach out. Whether you’re a coach, a caregiver, or anyone carrying anxiety silently, know that you’re seen, heard, and not alone. Embracing this perspective and practicing intentional self-care consistently can lead to meaningful healing, one breath and moment at a time.

A title slide for an article on "the psychology behind BRAINDUMPING" and "how to create mental space when you're overwhelmed." It features a pink daily planner and a sticky note with a to-do list, including items like 'collect data' and 'check website'.
This image explains "The Zeigarnik Effect," stating that the brain remembers unfinished tasks almost twice as well as finished ones. It clarifies that unfinished tasks include chores, worries, ideas, conversations, or anything 'open' in your mind.
This slide defines the "Brain Dump" technique as getting everything out of your head and onto paper or a digital document. It explains that writing things down offloads them from working memory, freeing up mental energy and quieting the brain.
How Brain Dumping Can Help You Manage Stress
