mom hack for fruits/veggies!

my son is constantly asking for me to get him snacks, and I was getting so sick of running to the fridge to get him a bowl of something. I found this snack container at aldi and I knew I needed it!

I fill it up with the fruits and veggies we have on hand as well as a dip (usually ranch) and my son loves eating this way! He can just go grab this out of the fridge himself and has options to choose from.

This is also a good way to expose kids to foods they may not choose to eat! Throw them in one of the compartments and see if they grab any of it to eat one day!

... Read moreAs a parent, finding healthy snacks that kids love can be challenging. This mom hack offers a practical solution by utilizing snack containers filled with colorful fruits and veggies. It's not just about convenience; it's also a way to introduce a variety of healthy foods that children might not have tried otherwise. By presenting fruits and veggies in fun, easy-to-reach containers, kids are more likely to choose these options over processed snacks. The key is to rotate the selections regularly, exposing them to different flavors and textures. Adding a favorite dip like ranch can make the experience more enjoyable for them. This method doesn’t just make snack time easier; it also promotes a healthy lifestyle early on, setting a foundation for better eating habits. Additionally, engaging kids in the process by letting them pick and prepare their snacks can create a positive food relationship, encouraging exploration and curiosity about various foods. Implementing these strategies turns snack time into an educational opportunity, fostering a love for wholesome foods while simplifying your routine as a mom.
