Brown butter banana brownies
How to make the brownies ⬇️
• 4 ripe bananas, mashed
• 1 stick butter, softened
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1½ cups sugar
• 2 tbsp oil
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp banana extract
• 2 cups flour
• 1 tsp baking soda.
• Pinch of salt
• 2 eggs
• 1 tbsp water
In a mixer, combine mashed bananas, butter, sour cream, sugar, oil, and vanilla
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, then mix in eggs and water until combined.
Spread into a greased 9x13 pan and bake at 375° for about 28 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Brown Butter Glaze:
• 4 tbsp browned butter
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 2 tbsp whole milk
• 1 tsp vanilla
Whisk together until smooth. While brownies are still warm, spread glaze over the top in a thin layer. Add walnuts if desired.
