Creamy Chicken & Gnocchi
This rich, dreamy recipe is loaded with juicy chicken, soft gnocchi, and a garlicky Parmesan cream sauce that brings it all together. Pure comfort in every bite. 🤍
🛒 Ingredients:
✔️ 2 Tbsp olive oil
✔️ 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
✔️ 1 tsp salt
✔️ 1 tsp black pepper
✔️ 1 tsp garlic powder
✔️ 3 cloves garlic, minced
✔️ 2 Tbsp butter
✔️ 2 Tbsp flour
✔️ 1½ cups chicken broth
✔️ ½ cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
✔️ 1 tsp Italian seasoning
✔️ ¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
✔️ ½ cup milk
✔️ ½ cup cream
✔️ 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
✔️ 1 lb gnocchi
✔️ ¼ cup fresh basil, sliced (plus extra to garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Cook gnocchi per package, then (optional) sauté in butter until golden.
2. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Sear in olive oil, 5–6 mins per side, until cooked through. Remove and chop.
3. In the same pan, melt butter. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds. Stir in flour until smooth.
4. Add broth, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper. Simmer until thickened.
5. Lower heat. Stir in milk, cream, and Parmesan.
6. Add cooked chicken and gnocchi. Stir in basil.
7. Serve warm, topped with extra cheese and basil if desired.
