Marshmallow Cream Cheese Frosting
@Lemon8 Food this frosting is my go to for most of my cakes. You can literally just eat it alone with a spoon 😩😅🧁. What type of baked good would you use it on?

I've always loved experimenting with frostings, and Marshmallow Cream Cheese Frosting has become my absolute favorite because of its unique texture and taste. What makes this frosting stand out is the combination of marshmallow fluff with cream cheese. The marshmallow fluff adds that light, airy sweetness, while the cream cheese balances it out with a subtle tanginess. When combined with powdered sugar and whipped well for about five minutes, you get a frosting that's incredibly smooth, fluffy, and easy to spread or pipe. One pro tip I found helpful is to make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature before mixing. This helps achieve an even creamier texture without lumps. Also, mixing for the full five minutes really incorporates air, making the frosting light rather than dense. I often use this frosting on carrot cakes, red velvet cakes, or simple yellow cakes. Sometimes, I add a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of salt to enhance the flavor complexity. For storage, keeping it in an airtight container in the fridge is key—it stays fresh for up to 3-4 weeks, so you can make it ahead of time. Before using after refrigeration, just bring it back to room temperature and give it a quick stir or re-whip for that soft, spreadable consistency once again. Overall, this frosting recipe is a fantastic alternative to traditional cream cheese or buttercream frostings. It's delicious enough to eat by the spoonful, as many baking enthusiasts can agree!

I have been looking for this very recipe and could never remember the last ingredient! Thanks for sharing this! I had cake at a party for a friend and she told me the recipe, my ol'head said "Oh yes, I'll remember it"! NOT.. ❤️❤️
