2 lbs ground turkey
1 tbsp chili powder 🌶️
2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic salt 🧄
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 yellow onion (diced) 🧅
For the rest:
2 pound sweet potatoes 🍠
4 tsp chili powder
2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp garlic salt 🧄
1/2 tsp pepper
7 oz. green chiles
14.5 oz. fire roasted tomatoes 🍅
1/4 cup water 💧
1/2 cup cheddar cheese (freshly grated)
Fresh cilantro (to taste)

Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok and cook the diced sweet potatoes, covered, until they start to soften. In another pan, brown the ground turkey with onion and garlic, then season with chili powder, cumin, garlic salt, and pepper. Add the fire-roasted tomatoes, green chilies, water, and seasonings to the sweet potatoes and cook until tender.
