I made some yummy Pumpkin French Toast this morning. My kid ate everything in seconds!
🍞 Pumpkin French Toast 🍞
Ingredients:
4 large eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup pumpkin puree
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
¼ tsp ground ginger
Pinch of salt
8 slices of thick bread (brioche or challah works best)
Butter, for cooking
Maple syrup and powdered sugar, for serving
Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, pumpkin puree, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter.
Dip each slice of bread into the pumpkin mixture, ensuring both sides are fully coated.
Cook the bread in the skillet until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
