Ingredients:
1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
1 red bell pepper, sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 small onion, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
¼ cup beef broth
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
3 cups cooked white rice
Directions:
In a bowl, toss the sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir-fry the bell peppers and onion for 4–5 minutes until they are tender-crisp.
Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the beef broth and oyster sauce. Stir everything together and cook for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Drizzle sesame oil over the stir-fry and give it a final toss.
Serve the beef stir-fry hot over a bed of cooked white rice.
