Taper week before Brighton 10km race
With the Brighton 10km race on Sunday I’ve been enjoying taper week! What do you mean it seems exactly the same as my normal training?!? 😂
Seriously though, it’s an important part of training where you don’t do a lot at all tbh. You rest those legs, maybe go for a light run mid week. But you don’t do nothing….
Things I keep while tapering are stretches and mobility exercises, trying to get a lot of sleep, keep good hydration, and even going for walks so the legs stay a bit active, they’re just not getting worn out.
Hopefully I’ll be ready and fit for the Brighton 10k! Maybe see you there!
