My “Marry Me” Creamy Tuscan Chicken
🍗✨
Ingredients:
* 2-3 large chicken breasts (sliced into cutlets)
* 1 tablespoon of my adobos recipe. Or Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning (to taste)
* 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter
* 4-5 whole cloves of garlic (smashed slightly)
* 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes (chopped)
* 1/2 cup bell peppers or spinach (optional, chopped)
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1/2 cup chicken broth
* 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions: 1️⃣ Season the chicken generously on both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. 2️⃣ Heat oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken until beautifully golden brown on both sides. Drop the whole garlic cloves in with the chicken so they cook, soften, and infuse the oil without burning! 3️⃣ Remove the chicken and set aside. In the same pan, toss in your sun-dried tomatoes (and peppers/spinach if using) and let them cook for 1-2 minutes. 4️⃣ Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer, scraping up all those delicious browned bits from the bottom of the pan. 5️⃣ Stir in the parmesan cheese until the sauce gets thick and velvety. Mash the softened garlic cloves into the sauce if you want them fully incorporated! 6️⃣ Return the chicken and its juices back to the skillet. Spoon that rich cream sauce all over it and let it simmer for another 3-5 minutes until everything is bubbling and perfect.
Serve over pasta, rice, or with a side of crusty bread to soak up the sauce! Save this for dinner tonight! 🤤
I used my adobo season recipe for the chicken. Once it was done I added red pepper flakes and freshly sliced garlic and cilantro and this was next level great.

One of the best things about this creamy Tuscan chicken recipe is how versatile and forgiving it is, perfect for cooks of all skill levels. I’ve made this dish a few times myself, and I find that the key to bringing out the full flavor is to not rush the searing process for the chicken cutlets. Getting that golden brown crust really locks in juices and adds a wonderful texture contrast to the creamy sauce. Using whole garlic cloves that get lightly smashed and cooked in butter and olive oil was a game changer for me. The garlic infuses the sauce with a subtle, rich aroma without overpowering it—it’s much milder than using raw minced garlic added directly to the sauce. Plus, mashing the softened cloves into the sauce at the end adds a gentle garlic punch that's just perfect. I recommend trying the optional veggies like spinach or bell peppers—they add freshness, color, and additional nutrients. Spinach wilts beautifully in the warm cream sauce, making the dish even more satisfying. If you like a little heat, sprinkling red pepper flakes once the chicken is plated adds a delightful kick without overwhelming the delicate Tuscan flavors. For serving, this recipe shines over a bed of warm pasta, such as fettuccine or penne, or even creamy mashed potatoes. Crusty bread on the side is a must-have for soaking up every bit of that luscious sauce. I’ve also experimented with serving it over cauliflower rice for a low-carb option and it works wonderfully. Family-friendly and comforting, this dish is perfect for weeknight meals or impressing guests with minimal effort. The combination of sun-dried tomatoes, Parmesan, and creamy broth creates a sauce that feels indulgent but still approachable. The simple seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian herbs makes it accessible even if you don’t have a complex pantry. If you want to customize further, adding freshly chopped herbs like basil or parsley at the end brightens the dish and adds a fresh herbal note. Using freshly grated Parmesan cheese is worth the extra step for that authentic taste and creaminess. Overall, this Marry Me Creamy Tuscan Chicken is a beautiful balance of rich and bright flavors, easy to prepare, and loved by both adults and kids alike. It’s a recipe I keep returning to whenever I want a comforting yet elegant dinner on the table quickly.
