Supplements I’m taking while TTC
TTC can be a long and hard journey. I have been working on making it as simple as possible for me and my husband. As such I’ve done some research on what the best vitamins are to supplement when TTC.
1. 🐟Fish oil - fish oil has been shown to regulate hormones which is critical for making sure you ovulate on a regular basis. Ovulation MUST occur for fertilization (and therefore pregnancy) so fish oil has been an important one for me!
2. 🤰🏻A prenatal - I read that you should start taking a prenatal 90 days before planning to conceive. Part of the reason for this is that our eggs are developed 90 days before they are released! Pretty crazy. Plus prenatals have folic acid which is critical for early fetal development.
3. 🌱Magnesium - I’m a big fan of magnesium all around, but this is one I take also for hormonal regulation. It has also been shown to help aid in successful implantation.
4. ☀️Vitamin D - this one has some mixed research, but one thing that stood out to me was how it helps sperm motility! I just like to take it as it helps me have healthy bones, and this is critical for a successful implantation as well.
🥚Of course the most important thing when TTC is timing intercourse with ovulation, but these are just some things I’ve been taking to help the process! ☺️

When trying to conceive (TTC), it’s crucial to consider the role of various supplements in enhancing fertility. Research indicates that certain vitamins and minerals can significantly benefit both women's reproductive health and overall wellness. 1. **Fish Oil**: Known for its omega-3 fatty acids, fish oil helps regulate hormones and promotes regular ovulation, which is essential for conception. A daily dose can support reproductive health and increase the chance of a successful pregnancy. 2. **Prenatal Vitamins**: Starting prenatal vitamins 90 days before conception is recommended for optimal health. These vitamins contain folic acid, essential for early fetal development, and other nutrients that prepare the body for a healthy pregnancy journey. 3. **Magnesium**: This mineral is vital for hormonal regulation and has been linked to improved fertility. Magnesium can aid in successful implantation and support the reproductive system during the TTC process. 4. **Vitamin D**: While research results for Vitamin D’s impact on fertility vary, it is acknowledged for its role in boosting sperm motility, making it a valuable supplement for partners trying to conceive. Its overall health benefits also contribute to a successful pregnancy. Incorporating these supplements into your routine can provide a solid foundation for your TTC journey, enhancing your chances of conception.

Question. I see that you take magnesium along with the prenatal that has magnesium in it. Are there benefits with taking the extra 250mg too?
