Instead of one long hike, I started taking shorter, brisk walks in the morning, during my lunch break, and again in the evening. Parking further away, taking the stairs, and even walking around my house during phone calls all added up. Every step truly counts when you’re aiming for such a high number. What surprised me was how quickly my body adapted. The initial fatigue was real, but within a few days, my energy levels actually increased. It’s like my body started to crave the movement.
