Homemade apple pie

Ingredients

Pilsbury refrigerated pie crust

8 apples of your choice

Half a stick of unsalted butter

Apple pie spice

1/2 cup brown or white sugar (I would do half and half)

Egg for egg wash

Lemon juice

Measurements have never really been my thing. I have always made things according to smells and taste and never bothered to measure. You can bake this in the oven for 25-35 minutes on 400 or until you get golden flaky crust. I cooked my chopped apples in the butter until slightly soft. I like my apples to still have a slight crunch when I’m apple pie
