Detox day one!

Other than getting hungry fast I felt fine but I know the change is coming 😆

Here is my attempt to let you know how I prepared my meals.

🍋 Lemon tea: half a lemon, lemon tea bag, 6oz warm water(+ 2oz for smoothie)

🍏 Green smoothie: handful of kale, 1 green apple, and one mini cucumber, 2oz lemon tea(made 12oz smoothie)

🥗 Salmon salad: 2 bags of green goddess salad (without the dressing)(9oz), seasoned salmon(sprinkle tumeric, garlic and onion powder, smoked paprika, pinch of salt)(7oz cooked)Dressing(didn't measure)red wine vinegar,olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice.

🍗 Chicken and asparagus: 5oz of cooked asparagus sautéed in homemade bone broth, lemon juice and rosemary. garlic and herb baked chicken breast (6.5oz cooked)

make sure to also drink water in between meals. It helps to take away the empty feeling.

It all still tastes good without all the extra seasoning that I usually add to my meals.

For dinner, cooking asparagus in bone broth infused with rosemary and lemon juice was a wonderful twist that kept the vegetables tender and full of flavor while the baked chicken breast offered lean protein to satisfy my appetite. Overall, keeping the meals simple but nutrient-dense allowed me to stay committed to my detox without feeling deprived. Remember, detoxing isn’t just about restrictive eating; it’s about nourishing your body with wholesome, fresh ingredients that support healing and energy. If you’re planning your own detox, try meal prepping your lemon tea and smoothies in advance and experiment with different herbs and spices to keep your meals vibrant and enjoyable throughout the process.
