My home made eggless cinnamon rolls

I recently made some cinnamon rolls this past week and I made the mistake of accidentally forgetting the egg BUT it still came out fluffy and delicious and great if u have an egg allergy it takes time but is really worth it with warm tangy cream cheese icing!this recipe makes 6😁

INGREDIENTS

dough:

½ cup warm milk (110°F)

1¼ tsp active dry yeast (½ packet)

2 tbsp granulated sugar

1 egg yolk

2 tbsp melted butter

¼ tsp salt

1½ to 1¾ cups all-purpose flour

Filling:

3 tbsp softened butter

⅓ cup brown sugar

1 tbsp ground cinnamon

Glaze (Simple):

½ cup powdered sugar

1–2 tbsp milk or cream

½ tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Activate Yeast:

• In a bowl, stir warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.

2. Make the Dough:

melted butter, and salt. Stir well.

Add 1½ cups flour and mix. If it’s sticky, add more flour a tablespoon at a time.

Knead for 6–8 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled ( an 1 1/2 to keep it soft bc there’s no eggs)

3. Shape Rolls:

Roll dough into a 9x6 inch rectangle.

Spread with butter, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon. (GET ALL SIDES)

Roll up from the long side and cut into 6 rolls.

4. Second Rise:

Place rolls in a greased small pan (like 8x8 or even a loaf pan).

Cover and let rise for 45-50minutes.

5. Bake:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake 18–22 minutes, until golden and puffy.

6. Glaze:

Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla add cream cheese
