Banana Pudding Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

For the Cake:

1 box yellow or vanilla cake mix (plus ingredients listed on the box: eggs, oil, water)

2 ripe bananas (mashed)

For the Pudding Layer:

1 package (3.4 oz) instant banana pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

For the Topping:

Sweetened condensed milk (for drizzling)

Crushed vanilla wafers or cookie crumbs (for garnish)

Instructions:

Prepare the Cake:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Mix the cake batter according to the package instructions.

Fold in the mashed bananas until fully incorporated.

Pour the batter into the prepared dish and bake as directed on the cake mix box. Let the cake cool completely.

Prepare the Pudding Layer:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the pudding mix and cold milk until it thickens (about 2 minutes).

Spread the pudding evenly over the cooled cake.

Add the Toppings:

Drizzle sweetened condensed milk generously over the top.

Sprinkle crushed vanilla wafers or cookie crumbs for texture and flavor.

Chill:

Refrigerate the cake for at least 2-3 hours or until set.
