Homemade Chocolate Cake

ingredients

For the cake:

• 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour

• 1 ½ cups of sugar

• ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa

• 1 ½ tsp baking powder

• 1 ½ tsp baking soda

• ½ tsp salt

• 2 large eggs

• 1 cup of milk

• ½ cup of oil

• 2 tsp vanilla

• 1 cup of boiling water

For the glaze:

• 1 cup of soft butter 🧈

• 3 ½ cups of powdered sugar

• ½ cup cocoa powder

• ¼ cup of milk

• 2 tsp vanilla

💥 Explosive preparation mode 💥

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and place parchment paper in 2 round molds.

2️⃣ Dry mix: Flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.

3️⃣ Incorporate wet: Add the eggs, milk, oil and vanilla. Beat until you obtain a smooth dough. Then, add the boiling water (it will be liquid, don't panic!).

4️⃣ Bake: Divide the dough into the molds and bake for 30-35 minutes. Do the toothpick test!

5️⃣ Let cool: Remove the cakes, cool them for 10 minutes and transfer them to a rack.

6️⃣ Prepare the glaze: Beat the butter until creamy. Add powdered sugar and cocoa little by little. Add the milk and vanilla, and beat until light and fluffy.
