I used to think making these vibrant, savory fajitas at home was complicated, but trust me, with this recipe, you'll be whipping up restaurant-quality tacos in no time. The aroma alone will have your family asking for seconds, making it a perfect weeknight meal or a fun family dinner! Here’s what I usually grab from the store for my amazing Chicken Fajitas Tacos: 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, thinly sliced 2-3 bell peppers (I love using a mix of red, yellow, and green), sliced 1 large onion, sliced 2 tbsp olive oil For the Fajita Seasoning (or use 2 tbsp store-bought): 1 tbsp chili powder 1 tsp ground cumin 1 tsp smoked paprika 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional, for a kick!) 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp black pepper Flour or corn tortillas Optional Toppings: Salsa, guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, fresh cilantro, lime wedges. The secret to tender and flavorful Chicken Fajitas is a good marinade, even a quick one!
