Mini Pralines
I made mini pralines and packaged them in these tiny bags I grabbed from Temu… and I’m not gonna lie; they came out TOO cute 😭🤎
Perfect treat for Mother’s Day event, or just having a little sweet bite throughout the day.
✨ Why these are a win:
• Bite-sized + perfect portions
• Buttery, sugary, pecan goodness 😮💨
• Cute packaging = instant gift idea
• Simple ingredients, big flavor
📝 Praline Recipe (Mini Size Batch)
Ingredients:
* 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
* 1½ cups granulated sugar
* ½ stick butter
* 1 tbsp dulce de leche
* 2 tbsp pure vanilla extract
* 1 cup chopped pecans
👩🏽🍳 Instructions:
1. Prep
Lay out parchment paper.
2. Cook base
In a heavy-bottom pan over medium-high heat, add evaporated milk, sugar, and butter. Stir until well combined.
3. Boil & reduce
Once it starts bubbling, continue stirring and let it cook down (about 13 minutes total).
4. Add flavor
At around 12 minutes, add pecans and vanilla extract. Mix for the final minute.
5. Cool & thicken
Turn off heat and continue stirring for about 6 minutes until it reaches a spoonable consistency.
6. Scoop
Spoon out mini pralines onto parchment.
7. Set
Let cool for 30 minutes until firm.
💡 Pro Tips:
• Keep stirring—this mixture moves fast toward the end
• Don’t skip the cooling stir step (that’s what gives the texture)
• Work quickly when scooping before it sets 😮🔥
🎁 Packaging Idea:
Bag them up in mini treat bags, tie with ribbon, and you’ve got the perfect little homemade gift 🤎
