tips for long distance
Let’s be real, most of the time long distance SUCKS- but it doesn’t always have to. My boyfriend and I have been together a little over a year now, and out of the 13ish months, 10 of them have been long distance. in that time we’ve found some things to make it more fun and continue to build the relationship.
🌸Honorable mention- NOTES!! We love to write each other little notes and letters, every holiday or even weekends we get to see each other hiding them in each others wallets pockets or rooms. It’s such a cute little way to show love.
🌸FaceTime dates- these were our saviors. Every Sunday at 5pm during the school year we both have reminders going off to plan our FT date. Some ideas include- watching a show together, plan our next real date, look at houses on zillow (a house under a given price we’d live under, the most expensive house we’d live in, etc with different categories), do Mad libs, take a compatibility test, make get to know you question cards, make an alphabet dates list, etc. It really helped us continue to learn more about each other.
🌸I’m sure I could come up with a million more random little tips if any of you want them but I figured I’d keep the list short today. Are any of you in a LD relationship? If so any tips or issues? Feel free to comment

Been with my baby for about 3 years now. Were only one state away and we see each other once a month. It was hard at first but it gets easier overtime with determination 🥰
