I finally started losing weight with PCOS when I stopped fighting my body. At the beginning of my journey, when I was so determined to reverse my weight gain as fast as humanly possible, I was actually making it harder on myself in the long run. I would lose a few pounds here, quickly gain it back and then some. And this happened over and over in a vicious cycle becuase I was taking UNHINGED measures to lose weight that came back to bite me like: fasting for days on end, eating under 1k calories most of the time, and working out every single day some times two times a day. This level of force is SO UNHEALTHY becuase it not only tanks our metabolic rate making it easier to gain weight right back, but also wrecks our hormones worsening just about every single PCOS symptom.
