did you ever eat something so sweet that it nearly took you out? but in a good way?

THIS is singularly the most yummy combination I have ever dreamed up; MILK & COOKIES overnight oats! With flavors of vanilla bean, rich dark chocolate, creamy yogurt, milky, brown sugary cookie oats, chunky peanut butter, and sweet cinnamon. Adding a big pinch of maldon sea salt on top of this cuts the sweetness, and takes her from an 10, to a 100/10 🫡

Here’s how you make it ⬇️

Ingredients (serves 2):

Base:

🍪2/3 cup oats

🍪3 tbsp flax and/or chia seeds

🍪1 cup almond milk

🍪1-2 scoops protein powder* optional

🍪1/2 tbsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract

🍪1 tsp cinnamon

🍪1 tbsp brown sugar

🍪1-2 tbsp maple syrup

🍪300g vanilla yogurt (plus more to top)

🍪2 tbsp dark cocoa powder

🍪2 tsp instant espresso powder *optional

🍪2 tbsp peanut butter

🍪sea salt

1. Start by mixing all the base ingredients in a bowl until smooth and creamy.

2. Split the base mixture into TWO, adding half to a different bowl. You’ll now have one vanilla oat layer, and one chocolate layer.

3. Chocolate Layer: Add 2 tbsp of dark cocoa powder with an extra splash of milk to the second bowl. This will make your dark chocolate layer.

4. To the bottom of two jars, add a layer of the vanilla oat base.

*optional: Use the back of a spoon to spread some yogurt and nut butter inside the walls of the jar. I like the pretty pattern it makes 🤭 if you skip this, just mix the peanut butter in at any time.

5. Next dollop on a layer of vanilla yogurt.

6. Now add a layer of the dark chocolate oat base to each jar (this should be on top of the yogurt).

7. Add one more vanilla oat base layer.

8. We’ve reached the top! Pour over the cinnamon syrup (maple syrup mixed with cinnamon and a pinch of salt), a big dollop of yogurt, and sprinkle more dark cocoa. Enjoy!
