Okay so I finally tried the protein Doritos and here’s my honest, neutral take.

Nutrition (per ~10 chips / 28g):

• 150 calories

• 8g fat

• 8g carbs

• 10g protein

• 1g fiber

• 150mg sodium

First impression:

They look like regular Doritos but feel slightly thicker and a little more dense.

Taste:

The flavor is there, but it’s not as bold or intense as regular Doritos. You can tell it’s a “high-protein” version — not bad, just slightly different. Less addictive, more snack-functional.

Texture:

Crunchy, but not as airy. A bit firmer.

Ingredients:

Main protein source is milk protein (casein). Still contains vegetable oils and some added sugars (small amounts). So it’s not a “clean food,” just a higher-protein snack option.

Pros:
