🍞Homemade Sandwich Bread 🍞

Ok Y’all no excuses ! This is way to easy for you not to make! Not only does it slice easily, it stores perfectly in a bread or ziplock bag.

I’ll just start off by saying this can be done all by hand but I used a mixer for this loaf.

1 Cup Hot Water

2 Tbsp. Sugar

1 0.25 oz Active Dry Yeast Packet

3 Cups Flour or Bread Flour

1/4 Cup Oil (I use avocado or olive)

1-1/2 Tsp. Salt

Mix together hot water, sugar and yeast set aside and allow yeast to bloom for 10 min.

Using your dough hook, Put mixture into your stand mixer and add in the vegetable oil, salt and flour one cup at a time. Mix between 5-7 min until dough ball forms and clings to dough hook.

Remove dough from hook and place ball of dough into a bowl and then cover with plastic wrap and towel. Place bowl in a non drafty place. Example: microwave/ oven/cabinet.

Allow dough to rise for approx 1 1/2 hours. Uncover and punch down dough. Take dough out of the bowl and place on lightly floured surface. Shape into a loaf and fold ends in. Place the loaf in a greased loaf pan and again cover with plastic wrap and towel. Put back to rise again this time for 1 hour.

Now your doughs ready ! Set oven to 350* F and bake bread for 25 min. Let your bread cool a few minutes before transferring to cooling rack.
