Beef Stroganoff🥩
1 lb sirloin steak cut into thin slices
2 tbsp avocado oil
2 tbsp butter
1/2 onion chopped
1/2 lb mushrooms thinly sliced or whole
4 garlic cloves minced
1 tbsp flour
1 cup beef broth broth
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 sour cream
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp Worcestershire
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
In a dutch oven pot add olive oil and sear each side of the steak on high. Do not completely cook through. Set steak aside and add in the butter over low/medium heat. Add in onions and mushrooms for 6-7 minutes. Add in garlic and seasonings for 1 minute. Add in the flour for 2 minutes. Slowly add in the broth, heavy cream and sour cream. Make sure to keep mixing so it doesn’t curdle. Add in the Worcestershire, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until the meat is cooked through. Serve over egg noodles and garnish with parsley or green onions.
