I did this, and THAT happened… ADHD routine update
Comparing this with the one from last month makes me laugh, mostly because last month was a total disaster. I’m both a little shocked and impressed that this weeks went so well.
To top things off, my kids started school this week and I thought it would throw a wrench into my plans entirely. Instead, it helped me stick to the plan. Since they had to get up early, I had to get up early, too. Since they ate breakfast right away, so did I. I was able to feed off of their schedule in a way that was positive.

Living with ADHD often means navigating through challenges that can disrupt your daily routine. This weekly routine check-in highlights the importance of structure and adaptability for individuals with ADHD. By waking up early and following a schedule with my kids, I noticed significant improvements in my daily life. In recent weeks, I've focused on maintaining a reliable morning routine, which included waking up at 6:30 am, taking my medication, and having breakfast with my coffee. The result? My body has adjusted to this routine, leading to less tummy trouble and a more intentional approach to my day. Increased productivity has become a reality as I stay well-rested, helping reduce the occurrences of ADHD rage fits. For others navigating similar challenges, the key takeaway is to create a routine that aligns with your body's natural rhythms. Integrating activities like meal prep and time-blocking for tasks can greatly enhance focus and efficiency. Embrace the ADHD journey and make incremental changes to your routine for lasting positive impacts on your lifestyle!
