Supplements I take every morning! (PCOS)
I have been on this journey to balance my hormones for over 10 years now. Trust me I have tried a little bit of everything and these are the ones I take every morning without fail!!
1) Liquid Chlorophyll Benefits- boosts red blood cells, helps with weight-loss, heal damaged skin, neutralize toxins, cut inflammation and prevent cancer. It also works as an internal deodorizer!! It’s a win. I take one dropper in a glass of water every morning.
2) Ashwagandha Anxiety & Stress Relief- Need I say more?! Ashwagandha has been a game-changer since I started taking it 3 years ago. My anxiety used to be through the ROOF before each period. This supplement has given me so much relief. I still get anxiety but no where near like before. Love it!!
3) Prenatal Vitamins- I find that having PCOS tends to make you deficient in many vitamins. Taking prenatal vitamins helps with my hair growth, skin, and nails. I just feel like they work better for me overall. It’s like the all-in-one super vitamin!
4)Vitamin D- helps with bone health, muscle and nerve function, immune system, inflammation, cell growth and glucose metabolism. I am always low in vitamin D so i take one vitamin a day.
5) Ginkgo Bilboa- helps to improve memory, reduce risk of dementia, reduces risk of peripheral artery disease, and reduced risk of tinnitus! Dementia has been renamed Type 3 Diabetes. I recently added this to my list of supplements to help keep my brain healthy!

For individuals with PCOS, selecting the right supplements can greatly enhance well-being. Supplements like Liquid Chlorophyll can aid in detoxification, promoting overall health by boosting red blood cell production and reducing inflammation. Ashwagandha, an adaptogenic herb, is often celebrated for its ability to alleviate anxiety and stress, making it a perfect counterpart for those experiencing hormonal imbalances. Prenatal vitamins are recommended not only for pregnancy but also for their rich nutrient profile, addressing common deficiencies in women with PCOS, thus supporting hair, skin, and nails. Vitamin D's role in regulating the immune system and maintaining bone health is particularly crucial, especially for those who are often deficient. Finally, Ginkgo Biloba is gaining recognition for its cognitive benefits, including memory enhancement and reducing the risk of age-related conditions. Incorporating these supplements into your daily routine can foster a healthier lifestyle tailored to the needs of those with PCOS.
