How to stop your sugar cravings
Lately I have found it pretty hard to stop eating sweets. I crave so many things like ice cream, chocolate, and pastries. Even though I do not see anything harmful with treating myself to a desert here and there I do think it’s important to keep count of how much sugar I am taking in. Here our some ways I like to decrease my sugar cravings.
1. I like to start my day with a high fiber protein breakfast. This helps me not have a big spike of sugar in the morning and therefore don’t continue to crave it throughout the day. Also if I have coffee I always have it after eating breakfast and I do not sweeten my lattes.
2. I make sure to stay hydrated to always wash off any sugar I have had throughout the day. I also do not drink sugary drinks. If I will be having sugar it will not be liquid.
3. Replace any sugary/ process snack you got for more healthier ones. I like to have fruits like apples with a bit of almond butter or dates.
