Stretch food tough times leftover roast /chicken
Leftovers often pose a problem because everyone gets tired of eating them. An easy way to stretch them is to use them to make something else. For instance, you can make leftover soup using roast chicken or roast beef a can of green beans a can of tomatoes a can of corn and some cut up potatoes. Add some water and cook until the potatoes are done and you have a hearty vegetable soup with meat. You also can make fajitas with either leftover roast beef or chicken. Add it to a crockpot along with two cut up peppers, a whole onion, 4 tablespoons of water and a packet of fajita seasoning. Cook it for one hour on high and you have the makings of a great fajita dinner.
