What’s Making Your Period Pain Worse?
For the longest time, I thought my period pain was just… my period.
Like, this is just how my body is.
But then I started noticing patterns.
The months I slept badly especially right before my period my cramps were brutal. I was exhausted, emotional, and everything hurt more. Turns out when you don’t rest, your body handles pain way worse.
Then I started researching and realized my body wasn’t clearing hormones efficiently. When detox pathways slow down, estrogen can build up, making PMS and cramps feel more intense. No one really talks about that part.
And protein? I barely ate it. Low energy, mood swings, cravings, worse pain all connected.
Add processed foods into the mix, and the inflammation made everything louder. More swelling. More discomfort. More “why does this hurt so bad?
