· Steak Bowls ✨

Flank Steak

- marinate steak in 1/4 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup olive oil, juice of 1/2 lime, 1 TBS cumin, 1 TBS garlic and salt/pepper to taste.

- cook steak on cast iron or grill or 4-6 minutes on each side and let rest for 5 minutes covered in tin foil.

Mexican Rice

- wash and rain 1 cup long grain white rice.

- add olive oil to pot and toast rice until translucent and add 1-2 cloves of garlic.

- add 2 cups of water, 1/4 cup favorite salsa and sazon seasoning. (I know this is not traditional Mexican rice but it’s the way we like it!)

- bring to a boil then cook on low for approximately 18-20 minutes, until rice is fork tender.

Peppers & Onions

- slice peppers and onions to your liking

- sauté on low with olive oil for 10 minutes. Finish with salt and pepper.

Queso

- your favorite store bought. We like Gordo’s Cheese Dip.
