✨losing 20lbs in the face✨
About 2 months ago, I was able to get my mental health straight which lead to me losing around 10lbs! Now I’ve started eating in a calorie deficit, and just like that 1 month later I’ve lost another 10lbs and I’m feeling better than ever!
This is the first lifestyle change I’ve done that hasn’t been fueled by a weightloss pill or crash dieting. Honestly, I do not know why it took me so long to go into a calorie deficit!
I’ve also started drinking almost a gallon of water per day. It’s been a great journey so far and I am so excited to see where the rest of it takes me!

Okay, so many of you asked about my journey and *what losing 20 lbs really looks like*, especially in the face, and I'm so excited to share more! It's been a truly powerful transformation for me, much more than just a number on the scale. For the longest time, I struggled with my weight, always trying quick fixes like crash diets or pills. But this time was different. The real breakthrough came when I decided to tackle my mental health first. Honestly, I didn't even realize how much stress and emotional eating were contributing to my weight. When I started practicing mindfulness, setting boundaries, and focusing on small, positive habits for my mind, it was like a domino effect. I naturally started making healthier choices, and those first 10 pounds just melted off without even trying! It truly shows how connected our mind and body are. After that initial mental shift, I felt ready to introduce a calorie deficit. Now, don't let that term scare you! For me, it wasn't about extreme restriction. I used a simple app to track what I was eating for a few days to get an idea of my baseline, then aimed to eat slightly less than what my body needed to maintain its weight. I focused on incorporating more lean protein, tons of colorful veggies, and healthy fats into my meals. Think grilled chicken salads, veggie-packed stir-fries, and satisfying snacks like Greek yogurt or a handful of almonds. It wasn't about cutting out everything I loved, but rather finding balance and portion control. This approach made it sustainable, and another 10 pounds came off steadily over the next month. And then there's water! Seriously, drinking almost a gallon a day has been a game-changer. I carry a large reusable water bottle everywhere to make sure I hit my target. It helps me feel fuller, keeps my energy levels up, and honestly, my skin has never looked better. It's such a simple habit but has had a powerful impact on my overall well-being and weight loss. Now, let's talk about the face, because that's where I've seen some of the most dramatic changes. Before, I often felt a bit puffy, especially around my jawline and cheeks. Now, my jawline is much more defined, and my cheekbones are starting to pop in a way I haven't seen in years! My eyes look brighter, less tired, and overall, my face just looks slimmer and more awake. It’s wild to look at old photos and really see *what it looks like to lose 20 lbs in the face*. People have commented that I look younger and more refreshed, which is such a confidence booster! This visual transformation really motivates me to keep going. This whole experience has taught me that sustainable weight loss is about nourishing your body and mind, not punishing them. It's a journey, and every small step counts. If you're wondering *what you would look like if you lost 20 pounds*, I can tell you it’s so much more than just a number; it’s a feeling of empowerment and renewed energy. My biggest tip? Start small, focus on one positive change at a time, and be kind to yourself throughout the process. You've got this!

I love this for you. Congratulations 🎉 I’m curious to know what helped you with your mental health?
