✨No better combo than Oreos and fudgy brownies ✨
There’s nothing better combining my 2 favorite things in 1 dessert! Brownies + Oreos!
Ingredients
•½ cup unsalted butter
•1 cup granulated sugar
•2 large eggs
•1 tsp vanilla extract
•⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
•½ cup all-purpose flour
•¼ tsp salt
•¼ tsp baking powder
•½ cup chocolate chips
• 1- 1/2 cups crushed Oreos
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×9 pan with parchment. Melt the butter. While warm, stir in the sugar until glossy. Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
- Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Fold just until combined — don’t overmix. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour batter into pan and top with crushed Oreos.
- Bake 22–26 minutes, until edges are set and the center is just slightly soft. Cool before slicing for the fudgiest texture.
If you’re a fan of combining classic desserts, these Cookies & Cream Brownies are a total game-changer! What I love about this recipe is how the crushed Oreos add an extra layer of texture and sweetness, making each bite satisfyingly crunchy yet fudgy. When preparing the brownie batter, the key is to avoid overmixing—this keeps the brownies dense and moist rather than cakey, which is perfect for a rich chocolate dessert. I usually line my baking pan with parchment paper to make sure the brownies come out cleanly and maintain their shape when slicing. Another tip from my experience is to slightly underbake the brownies, aiming for about 22 minutes in the oven at 350°F (175°C). This subtle underbaking creates a soft, gooey center that pairs wonderfully with the crunchy Oreos on top. Cooling the brownies completely before cutting is essential—when warm, they’re too delicate and tend to crumble. For an extra touch, you can swirl some cream cheese into the batter before baking or sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top alongside the Oreos for added richness. Serving these brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of caramel sauce turns them into a special treat perfect for any gathering. Finally, don’t hesitate to customize your cookie mix-ins—if you prefer, try mixing in different flavored sandwich cookies to switch things up. Overall, this recipe is a crowd-pleaser, combining decadent chocolate with the irresistible charm of Oreo cookies in each bite.
