Easy Stuffed French toast roll ups

Breakfast to please anyone. My kids loved these!

French toast roll ups

Ingredients:

🍞 Loaf of your favorite bread

Sausage links

Strawberries 🍓

Cream cheese (I used strawberry for one and brown sugar cinnamon for the other)

🥚 Eggs

Butter 🧈

Cinnamon

🥛 Heavy cream or milk

I like to add a little vanilla

Powdered sugar (optional)

Syrup (optional for less mess on the go)

Detailed Steps:

🎛️ Cook your sausage links and while they are cooking cut the crust off the bread.

🍞 Use a rolling pin or your hands on parchment paper to flatten the bread.

🍓Cut up your strawberries into small pieces.

🥄 Spoon small amount of cream cheese on the bread (strawberry for strawberries and brown sugar cinnamon for the sausage).

🍓Sprinkle strawberries into the center of the strawberry cream cheese and the sausage links on the other. Gently and tightly roll them up.

French toast batter

🥚Crack 2 eggs into a bowl with a little vanilla, cinnamon, and about 1/4-1/2 cup heavy whipping cream or milk. Whisk together. 🥣

🧈 melt butter into a skillet on medium heat.

Dip each roll up in the batter

🍳 place each roll up into the skillet turning them on each side.

🍽️ Plate them and sprinkle with powdered sugar

We dipped them into syrup but they are so flavorful you could take them on the go without and less mess for little.
