Homemade breakfast sandwiches!

Disclaimer: if you have dietary specialties you will need to adjust recipe accordingly!

I'm trying to share my recipes and costs to help anyone who may need a good breakfast idea but with as little cost as possible! Included below is the instructions, ingredients and cost break down!

Everything purchased from Walmart! This recipe resulted in 32 sandwiches!

You will need:

•GV hickory smoked bacon: 💵 Price:$4.67

•GV uncooked original breakfast pork sausage patties: 💵 Price:$ 2.42

•GV mild cheddar (12 slices) 💵 Price:$1.84

•GV jumbo buttermilk biscuits x2 💵 Price:$1.84 each.

•GV English muffins x2 $1.62 each

•salt and pepper 💵 Price: already had at home

• 8-10 eggs 💵 Price: collected from my chickens!

Total cost: $15.85

Instructions:

1. Spray a muffin tin with cooking spray or coat with butter

2. crack an egg in each cup on the tin. I used my heart tin from Valentine's Day!

3. Season to liking and bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.

4. Cook biscuits or English muffins according to pack directions

5. Cut raw bacon in half, and place in a single layer on a parchment covered cookie sheet.

6. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until crispy enough for you!

7. Place sausage patties on a parchment line cookie sheet.

8. Bake 8 minutes, flip sausage, and bake additional 10 minutes.

9. Lay out a small piece of parchment paper, and layer with cheese.

10. Add egg and meat of choice.

11. Wrap in parchment. And then wrap in aluminum foil. (Store sandwiches in a large ziplock)

12. To warm up- unwrap sandwich from aluminum foil, and cook in microwave for 30 seconds.
