Espresso Chocolate Chip Sourdough

This espresso chocolate chip sourdough loaf has Deff made its way into my regular baking rotation 🤤

➡️ 150 g active sourdough starter (100% hydration, at peak)

➡️ 275 g water

➡️ 50 g freshly brewed espresso, cooled

➡️ 500 g bread flour

➡️ 10 g fine sea salt

➡️ 25 g brown sugar

➡️ 1 tsp vanilla extract

➡️ 150 g chocolate chips (semi-sweet or dark)

Add everything but the chocolate chips during the initial mixing. Add chocolate chips after the first stretch and fold.

I baked this in my Dutch over for 30 minutes covered at 450 and an additional 30 at 430.
