Sweet Potatoes, GroundBeef, and Roasted Broccoli

Ya’ll I’m telling you this is the easiest meal to cook! (And it actually tastes good)

ingredients:

-sweet potatoes (one per person, or half whichever you prefer)

-ground beef

-honey

-salt

-pepper

-hot honey dry seasoning

-buffalo sauce

-butter

-olive oil (I used Pam cause I was lazy)

Directions:

-get your sweet potatoes ready by washing them and cutting each one in half the long way

-coat potatoes in olive oil, salt, and pepper and put in the oven flat side down at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 45 minutes to 1 hr.

-as they bake, cook your ground beef and drain the grease. (I use 93% lean so I don’t have as much)

-season your ground beef with salt, pepper, and hot honey seasoning. Once fully cooked, add honey and buffalo to your liking and keep warm until potatoes are done

-while cooking the other two, roast your broccoli coated in oil, salt, and pepper in your air fryer at 360 for 12 minutes (could be less or more time depending on your air fryer)

-when your potatoes are done, plate it up, use a fork and mash it a little before adding a little bit of butter on top.

-plate everything up and you’re done!!

I hope you guys enjoy!!!

... Read moreI recently tried this sweet potato, ground beef, and roasted broccoli recipe and was pleasantly surprised by how straightforward and satisfying it turned out. The baked sweet potatoes serve as a great hearty base with just the right softness when mashed slightly and topped with a bit of butter. Using 93% lean ground beef helped keep the dish light yet flavorful, especially with the addition of hot honey seasoning and buffalo sauce that adds a perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy notes. Roasting the broccoli in an air fryer made it crisp without much oil, which was a great time saver and enhanced the flavor with less prep. I did adjust the roasting time slightly to suit my air fryer, finding about 10-12 minutes at 360°F gave me the perfect crunch. This recipe is not only flexible—letting you adjust sweet potato portions or spice levels—but also supports clean eating and easy weeknight meal prep. What I appreciate most is how all components complement each other, creating a balanced meal rich in nutrients and flavor without complicated cooking steps. For anyone looking to enjoy a home-cooked meal that’s quick, wholesome, and delicious, this combination hits the mark perfectly. Give it a try with your favorite hot honey seasoning or buffalo sauce variation to make it your own!
