I started my week getting to these bat wings!

These exercises hit those bat wings DIRECTLY so don't skip them.

Now I will say you have to start out with lighter weight and more reps because going to heavy will have you hurting something!

It's also important to make these slow and controlled!!

I did 3 sets of 10 and 1 set of 12 for each.

... Read moreHey everyone! So glad you're here looking to tackle those 'bat wings' – I know exactly how frustrating they can be. It's a common area where many of us struggle to feel confident. From my personal experience, consistency and understanding why they happen are key. First off, 'bat wings' are essentially a combination of loose skin and underdeveloped triceps muscles, often exacerbated by genetics, age, and body fat percentage. While we can't change genetics, we can absolutely strengthen and tone the triceps! That's why this 'BAT WINGS WORKOUT' is so crucial. Beyond the exercises mentioned in the main post (which are fantastic for direct targeting!), I've found adding a bit more variety really helps keep things interesting and effective. For example, dumbbell overhead triceps extensions are a personal favorite for hitting the long head of the triceps. You can do these standing or seated, holding one dumbbell with both hands and extending it over your head. Another great one is the triceps kickback, which really isolates the muscle. Remember, just like the article says, start with lighter weights and focus on perfect form – squeezing at the top of the movement is where the magic happens! Don't forget skullcrushers (lying triceps extensions) – they sound intense, but when done slowly and controlled, they're incredibly effective. When I first started, I used to rush through my reps, thinking more speed meant more burn. Big mistake! Going slow and controlled, truly feeling the muscle work, made all the difference. It's not about how much weight you lift, especially in the beginning, but how you lift it. I aim for that slight tremble in the muscle by the last few reps. And let's not forget the bigger picture. While targeted exercises are vital, a healthy diet plays a huge role in reducing overall body fat, which in turn helps reveal those toned arm muscles. I try to incorporate plenty of lean protein and veggies, and stay hydrated. It’s not just about lifting; it's a lifestyle! Finally, be patient with yourself. Results don't happen overnight, but I promise you, with dedication to your 'BAT WINGS WORKOUT' and a holistic approach, you'll start noticing a difference in strength and definition. Before diving into any 'BAT WINGS WORKOUT', I always make sure to do a quick warm-up – maybe some arm circles or light cardio for 5 minutes. And after my session, a good stretch for my triceps is a must to aid recovery and flexibility. Holding each stretch for 20-30 seconds really helps. It’s all part of the journey to feeling strong and confident in your own skin. Keep showing up, keep pushing, and you'll love the confidence that comes with stronger, more toned arms.
