Ingredients
3 large eggs
½ cup all-purpose flour (loosely packed)
/ Cup milk
1 tablespoon maple syrup, plus more for serving ¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons unsalted butter
Berries, lemon zest and powdered sugar to top
Steps
1. Preheat oven to 400 and place a 10in cast iron skillet into oven while preheating
2. While oven is heating, combine eggs, flour, milk, syrup, salt, vanilla until smooth
3. After the cast iron has been in the oven for least 5 minutes, place the butter into the cast iron and let it sit in the oven until melted
4. Once melted, pour batter into cast iron and let cook for 20 minutes
5. After 20 minutes, top with whatever you chose but l like strawberries, powdered sugar and em on zest!
