Cowboy Butter with Steak & Shrimp 🥩🧈🍤

This recipe brings bold flavors to the table with juicy steak, succulent shrimp, and a zesty cowboy butter that ties it all together.

Ingredients

Cowboy Butter:

• 6 tbsp butter

• 5 garlic cloves, minced

• Juice of ½ lemon

• ½ tbsp lemon zest

• 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

• ½ tsp cayenne pepper

• 1 tsp paprika

• 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

• 1 tbsp chives, chopped

• 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

• 1 tsp fresh thyme

• Salt & black pepper, to taste

For the Steak:

• Steak of your choice (I used Ribeye)

• Salt

• Freshly cracked black peppercorns

For the Shrimp (½ lb):

• ½ lb shrimp, peeled & deveined

• Orange pepper seasoning

• Garlic powder

• ¼ tsp Cajun seasoning

Instructions

1. Make the Cowboy Butter:

• In a small saucepan or skillet, melt the butter over low heat.

• Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).

• Add lemon juice, lemon zest, Dijon mustard, cayenne, paprika, parsley, chives, red pepper flakes, thyme, salt, and pepper.

• Mix well and keep warm on the lowest heat.

2. Prepare the Steak:

• Pat steak dry and season generously with salt and freshly cracked black peppercorns.

• Heat a cast-iron skillet or grill over high heat.

• Cook steak to your desired doneness, searing both sides for a nice crust. Remove and let it rest for 5 minutes.

3. Cook the Shrimp:

• Season shrimp with orange pepper, garlic powder, and Cajun seasoning.

• In the same skillet, add a touch of oil or butter and cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.

4. Serve:

• Slice the steak and plate it with the shrimp.

• Drizzle cowboy butter over the top or serve on the side for dipping.
