$200 Weekly Costco/Aldi Haul – Family Meal Ideas

This is how I feed my family of 3 on a $200 weekly budget using my 5-4-3-2-1 grocery method (aka The Nurtured Plate™) and it actually works for picky eaters, toddlers, and tired moms like me.

Here’s what I bought and what we’re eating this week:

🖐 5 proteins (beef chuck, pork belly, short ribs, chicken thighs, eggs)

🍞 4 grains (jasmine rice, sourdough, artisan loaf, naan bread)

🥦 3 vegetables (asparagus, broccoli, carrots)

🍌 2 fruits (watermelon, bananas)

🍪 1 fun treat (sea salt caramel cookies 🍪 my fave)

Korean short ribs with rice

Chicken honey soy with jasmine rice

Garlic steak bites

Balsamic soy chicken thighs

I try to eat 100-120g of protein a day & buying most things in bulk from Costco has helped SO MUCH! I also try to follow a 1:10 ratio of protein:cals as much as I can! So if something has 200 cals, it should have at least 20g protein. Another way to check is to drop the last number from the cal
