Steak bowls 🥙

👩‍🍳Home Recipe:

Steak bowls are a favorite in our home. It’s our last min go to meal. You can make it in 30 mins!!

VEGETABLES:

1 tomato

1 white onion

Cilantro

1 lime

MEAT:

2 pounds of sirloin steak (any choice of steak)

GRAINS:

Jasmine rice

CANNED GOODS:

1 can of Black beans

1 can of Corn

SEASONING: grill mates Montreal steak seasoning packet

D i r e c t i o n s ~

On a cutting board, you are going to chop up your onion, tomato, cilantro, and put it in a bowl together and mix it up. Sprinkle olive oil oin the bowl and squeeze a half of lime in it as well. Add a little bit of salt to taste. Place the bowl in the refrigerator so it can cool while the other ingredients are cooking. (pico de gallo.)

On the stove heat your steak in oil. Let it cook down and until it’s tender then add the steak seasoning back and a table spoon of water or however, much water you feel is necessary to make a gravy.

Steam 2 cups of rice in another pot or use a rice cooker. Sit to the side for later.

You can microwave your corn and black beans in different bowls or you can simmer it on the stove. I prefer to simmer it on the stove and I always season both with salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder.

Lastly, assemble a fresh bowl with rice at the bottom, steak on top, corn then black beans and some of that pico de gallo you made earlier.
