Jerk Steak Shrimp over Yellow Rice

Ingredients

1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 cups yellow rice

2 tablespoons jerk seasoning

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 bell pepper, sliced

1 onion, sliced

2 cups chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

Lime wedges, for serving

Directions

1. Start by cooking your yellow rice according to the package instructions, but use chicken broth instead of water for an extra boost of flavor.

2. In a large bowl, toss the steak with jerk seasoning and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes. The longer it sits, the richer the flavor.
