For those with ADHD or similar neurodivergent conditions, the struggle to find peace within our own thoughts can be overwhelming. One way I cope is by embracing certain routines and comforts that help quiet my mind. For me, fluffy yogurt has become a reliable comfort food that I’ve been enjoying consistently for years. This kind of hyperfixation isn’t just about eating; it’s about anchoring myself to something familiar in a world that sometimes feels chaotic. Understanding that many challenges happen primarily in our minds helps me approach mental exhaustion with more compassion, both for myself and others. I love lps and I struggle getting my brain to stop thinking so I use to smoke but I know it’s a quick fix. I’m also the same when it comes to food. All I know is praying helps a lot and getting rid of people that get you triggered to over think. I hope it gets better for you. 🥰
