All you need is the following ingredients: (no measurements)
-milk/ dark chocolate
-pistachio cream
- Kataifi (phyllo dough)
-tahini
-butter
-coconut oil
Melt chocolate with some coconut oil to help it melt and not harden so fast while you are preparing it.
Put butter in a pan and then pour the Kataifi in the pan and fry until it’s a golden brown (not burnt !)
Next combine the Kataifi with the pistachio
butter and add a little bit of the tahini .
Then pour a thin layer of chocolate into a chocolate mold and put in the freezer for a few minutes to harden.
Take it out of the freezer and pour in your pistachio mixture.
Pour the remaining chocolate on top and pop it in the freezer for a quick way to enjoy your snack !
Dubai is known for its luxurious sweets and desserts, and chocolate is at the forefront of this culinary culture. To mimic the rich flavors of traditional Dubai sweets, try incorporating a range of local ingredients, such as saffron and rose water, to your chocolate recipes. Additionally, understanding the significance of kataifi in Middle Eastern desserts can elevate your homemade chocolate. This shredded phyllo dough, often used in pastries, can add texture and a unique flavor to your chocolate creations. Don't forget to experiment with different nuts like pistachios and almonds, which are commonly used in Dubai's confectionery. As you perfect your recipe, consider sharing it with friends and family to introduce them to the sweet taste of Dubai.
