No Knead Bread

No Knead Bread, also known as Peasant Bread

ingredients:

4 cups of flour

2 teaspoons of salt

2 teaspoons of sugar

2 teaspoons of yeast (1 little packet)

2 cups of lukewarm water

Steps:

Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add lukewarm water and stir to combine.

Let it rise in a warm spot for 1½-2 hours or until doubled in volume. You can let it rise over night in the oven and bake in the morning.

Separate from the bowl and divide in two parts.

Put halves into two buttered/oiled bowls or baking ware and let ot rise for 20-30 minutes.

Preheat oven at 425⁰F

Bake at 425⁰F for 15 minutes and lower oven to 375⁰F bake for 17-20 minutes.

Once golden take out of oven and let it cool down.

Baking on a Tray??? 🥖🥖

Divide dough as desired, form into loaves, and place into a tray with parchment paper.

Add a tray or vessel with water at the bottom of your over to keep the bread moist.

Baking in a Dutch Oven???

Preheat Dutch Oven at 450⁰F

Bake at 450⁰F for 30 minutes with lid on.

Remove lid, reduce temperature to 400⁰F an bake for another 8-12 minutes or until golden.
