A Course In Miracles Lesson 139
I notice how often uncertainty shows up as something I need to resolve.
Lesson 139
I will accept Atonement for myself.
🌿 A question forms about what something means.
What I should do.
What this says about me.
What the outcome will be.
It feels like something I need to figure out.
So I stay with it.
Turn it over.
Try to arrive at a clear answer.
But the lesson points to something more direct.
The question itself is the issue.
Not because questions are wrong,
but because of what this one is based on.
Uncertainty about what I am.
That sits underneath everything else.
Every conflict.
Every doubt.
Every need to resolve something.
It all traces back to that.
And instead of addressing it directly,
the mind spreads it across situations.
Trying to solve it in parts.
But that never stabilizes anything.
Because the root assumption remains.
The lesson offers a different approach.
Not solving the question,
but accepting what makes the question unnecessary.
Atonement is that acceptance.
Not changing what I am,
but ending the idea that it’s uncertain.
That’s why it resolves conflict.
Not by answering every situation,
but by removing the need for the question underneath them.
Today I’m watching where I try to resolve uncertainty by analyzing situations.
Where I assume clarity will come from figuring something out externally.
Not forcing certainty.
But recognizing where doubt is being projected outward.
I will accept Atonement for myself.
I am MovingStill.
